FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Discount Shelving today announced the promotion of Drew Telesca to Chief Operating Officer. The appointment reflects Telesca’s steady rise through the organization and his extensive, hands-on knowledge of the company’s operations.

Since joining Discount Shelving as a Warehouse Lead in 2014, Telesca has advanced through several key leadership positions, including Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager. His experience across nearly every level of the company’s warehouse and operations departments has given him a firsthand understanding of what it takes to keep the business running smoothly while providing customers with dependable service.

“I’m honored and excited to step into the role of Chief Operating Officer,” said Telesca. “I have been fortunate to grow alongside the organization. Working my way up has given me a strong understanding of our business and a genuine appreciation for the people who make it successful every day.”

Telesca credits much of his drive and work ethic to his family. He has been married for 12 years, and he and his wife are raising their 8-year-old son.

“My family is my greatest motivation and has shaped the way I approach leadership, responsibility, and hard work,” Telesca said.

Looking ahead, Telesca is focused on building upon the momentum that brought him to his new role.

“I’m incredibly ambitious and enthusiastic about the future of Discount Shelving,” he said. “I’m committed to supporting our team, driving continued growth, and finding new opportunities to take the company to the next level while continuing to serve our valued customers.
